Save the date: Dresden packaging conference with exciting…

(Berlin) – Is reusable the solution or an illusion? What about innovations and strategies in the packaging industry and brands? What did digitization lead to in sorting? And which start-ups should you know about? The German Packaging Institute (dvi) invites all players from industry, brands, trade, science and research to the 34th Dresden Packaging Conference in the Saxon state capital on December 5 and 6, 2024. Special conditions for early birds apply until October 4.

Everything is spinning. Under this motto, the industry will gather at the Dresden Packaging Conference at the beginning of December for the traditional end-of-year meeting. The program of the two-day event includes key industry topics such as reusable packaging, innovation and strategy, and artificial intelligence. The experts on the podium already include top representatives from WWF, Dirk Rossmann, Lindt & Sprüngli, dotch, Sykell, Cartonplast, Mehrwegverband, KI-Hub, Wax Solutions, Proservation and Herrmann Ultraschall. The dvi has announced further bright minds for the coming weeks.

Start-ups and young talent

According to the dvi, participants of the conference can look forward to a whole series of exciting start-ups presenting themselves and their disruptive developments in addition to the specialist lectures and discussions in the above-mentioned subject areas. Part of the tried and tested Dresden mix is ​​also the presence of numerous students from Germany and Austria on packaging-related courses. In this way, the dvi will provide current students with valuable contacts for building their own network and, on the other hand, will give the company representatives present the unique opportunity to get to know the specialists of tomorrow at a very early stage and to interest them in them.

The industry’s traditional class reunion takes place on December 5th and 6th in Dresden and, in addition to the lectures, discussions and presentations, offers plenty of space for networking and making new contacts. The evening event on the Thursday of the conference also offers an opportunity to do this.
