Live activities can be seen on the lock screen, in the Dynamic Island of newer iPhone models and, starting with iOS 18, in the Smart Stack on the Apple Watch.

Currently, not all users can see WhatsApp’s live activity on their iPhone. WABetaInfo is currently testing the messenger with a select group of users. The function is part of the beta version 24.18.10.77 of WhatsApp for the iPhone. It remains to be seen when it will be made available to everyone.
