“We are moving forward with 40 new trainees in 2024!”|Mertingen|Donau-Ries-Aktuell

In 2024, Autohaus Hofmann GmbH, together with Wittmann and Hofmann AG, will set a new record: 40 young people will begin their vocational training with us. Of these, 35 will begin on September 1st, while 5 more will begin their training during the year.

We are delighted to announce this new record number of trainees! Despite the general trend towards fewer training places, we are proud of the good training development in our company, where we receive many times more applications for the vacancies every year. In total, 40 young talents have consciously decided to train in their dream job with us. Our trainees are spread across the BMW & MINI locations of Autohaus Hofmann GmbH in Ingolstadt, Regensburg, Pfaffenhofen, Abensberg, Neuburg and Mertingen as well as the company headquarters of Wittmann and Hofmann AG in Ingolstadt.

This year’s trainees are learning the following professions: office management clerk, retail clerk for spare parts and warehousing, automotive sales clerk, automotive mechatronics technician in the fields of bodywork technology, car technology as well as system and high-voltage technology and vehicle painter.

It is particularly important to us to understand the needs of the younger generation and at the same time to create a good basis for working with the older generation and their needs – learning from and with each other. We want to make the start of our trainees’ working lives as smooth as possible. That’s why we held the “Trainee Welcome Day” again this year, which has now become an integral part of our family business.
