Enjoy tennis in the summer holiday program at Baur SV

This September, the popular trial training session took place again as part of the youth summer holiday program at the Baur SV tennis facility. A total of six children between the ages of six and twelve attended the entertaining training session.

Baur SV trainer Stefan Kornitzky, together with junior player Luis Dötschel, showed the young talents the basics of forehand and backhand as well as serving with age-appropriate balls and rackets. The participating children also trained in handling tennis rackets and balls with a number of coordination and motor skills exercises and learned the correct grip.

Although it became clear that it is not that easy to hit a tennis ball and to get it into the opponent’s court with precision, the feeling of success quickly sets in when the first balls are played over the net. At the end of the trial session, the children received a small gift and the opportunity to take part in the club’s own group training under professional supervision.
