Rangers fans demand ‘serious investigation’ after ‘horrific’ injury shock

Rangers fans are demanding that the club conduct a “serious investigation” into its medical department after another wave of injuries hit them.

Rabbi Matondo is the latest star to suffer a muscle injury, having strained his hamstring during the Old Firm defeat to Celtic.

The winger will reportedly be out for six to eight weeks as the number of injured players at Ibrox Stadium continues to rise.

Matondo is now lying on the treatment table together with Ridvan Yilmaz, Oscar Cortes and Danilo and the fans are getting impatient.

The number of injuries that keep players out of action for several weeks or even months has long been a problem for Rangers and little seems to be done to solve the problem.

When Philippe Clement joined the club, he announced that he would take steps to reduce the number of injuries, but little has changed.

Rangers fans are angry about Rabbi Matondo’s renewed injury

Many felt that given the current shortage of options during the summer transfer window, a new winger should be high on the club’s priority list.

Despite signing Vaclav Cerny on loan, Clement’s team continues to lack options and Matondo’s injury history confirms fans’ fears.

Following news of his latest setback, angry fans took to social media to express their displeasure with the club, players and medical team.

In other news, fans were heavily criticized for the actions of a Celtic star on international duty.
