iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will launch next week and their prices have already leaked

Apple will unveil its iPhone 16 series next week, on September 9. While fans eagerly await the official launch, leaks have already revealed the possible prices of the Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. The key specifications and design of the new iPhones have also leaked online, but we will take a look at the leaked prices of the iPhone 16 series.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro prices leaked ahead of launch

Apple Hub has leaked the prices of the next generation iPhone. The Apple iPhone 16 is said to start at $799 (around Rs. 67,100), while the iPhone 16 Plus could cost $899 (around Rs. 75,500). Coming to the Pro models, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro could cost $1,099 (around Rs. 92,300) for the 256GB variant, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max could start at $1,199 (around Rs. 1,00,700).

These prices are for the US market. However, Indian buyers should expect higher costs due to import duties and additional expenses.

iPhone 16 series: Price expectations for India

In India, Apple’s iPhones are usually more expensive compared to the global markets. For example, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro was launched at Rs 134,900, while the Pro Max was priced at Rs 159,900. The Apple iPhone 15 was sold in India at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB storage model and Rs 89,900 for the Plus model. The iPhone 16 and Plus could have a similar pricing structure, and the Pro models could see a slight price hike due to new features as well as higher production costs.

According to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to receive major upgrades including an improved camera system, more powerful chipset, slimmer design, larger batteries, and AI features. These features on the Pro models could lead to a price hike in India and make them a bit more expensive than their predecessors.
