Leipzig flea markets

On Saturday there are several flea markets to discover.

The flea market at Eutritzscher Markt opens its stalls from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Look forward to a diverse selection of antique furniture, vintage clothing and objects from all over the world. You can find out more at Marktcom.de.

The flea market at the delicatessen starts at 10 a.m. Here, too, everything a junk shopper’s heart could desire is on offer, from second-hand dresses to GDR side tables.

If you haven’t found what you’re looking for at the two markets, it’s also worth visiting the “Art and Junk” creative and flea market in the Arena at the Panometer. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the stalls offer plenty of art and similar items in addition to discarded flea market items.

“Bark Date” on the dog meadow in Rosental

A slightly different date awaits you at 11 a.m. on the dog meadow in Rosental. A large number of dogs are still looking for their soul mates in animal welfare organizations. They want to find their new home at the “Bark Date” on Saturday. If you too would like to meet a possible partner on four paws, it is worth stopping by by 1 p.m. and visiting a few of the candidates. “Holi Festival of Colors” in the Bruno Plache Stadium

Thousands of people, international DJs and lots of color: That’s the “Holi Festival of Colors”. This year, the colorful festival returns to the Bruno Plache Stadium to not only celebrate with you, but also to make the world a little more colorful. It starts at 12 noon. “Mind World” industrial culture festival

The “Mind World” industrial culture festival promises art, culture and gastronomy against the breathtaking backdrop of the steel giants. From 12 noon to 2 a.m., the mining technology park in Großpösna will be transformed into a work of art that will impress both young and old. In addition to the artistic aspect, the park also serves as a place of learning on this day for a wide range of topics from science, culture and society. Night of Art

Every year, Georg-Schumann-Straße becomes an art mile on the first Saturday in September. This year, for the 15th time, 200 different artists are looking forward to being discovered by thousands of visitors in 50 extraordinary locations. The event begins at 4 p.m. with a ceremonial opening in Kaufland Gohlis-Süd. This was followed by a supporting program that took place at the Kunsttanker, Huygensplatz and the Friedenskirche, among other places. Teen party at Westbad

Attention teenagers! For the second time, the Westbad is throwing a party for all 11 to 16 year olds. Aside from plenty of TikTok charts and party hits, the XXL festival stage, confetti, steamers, free sweets and slush ice will ensure a party atmosphere. The evening starts at 4 p.m.
