Deal with DAZN: DF1 shows group stage of Davis Cup 2024

Who needs pay TV when it’s also available on free TV: The TV channel DF1 is broadcasting the group phase of the Davis Cup 2024 live as part of its free TV cooperation with the global sports entertainment platform DAZN.

The group phase of the 112th Davis Cup will take place from September 10 to 15. The agreement with DAZN allows DF1 to show all of the German team’s singles and doubles matches live from the Hengqin International Tennis Center in Zhuhai (CHN).

Tennis fans can look forward to exciting parties as the German team fights for a place in the knockout round. The 16 teams will play for eight places in the knockout round in four groups. The two best teams in each group will play for the 2024 Davis Cup winner at the Final 8 in Malaga (November 19-24).

With the broadcast, DF1 is once again underlining its position as a provider of premium live sport on German television and is further contributing to increasing the popularity of tennis in Germany. “We are looking forward to the start with great anticipation and hope that we can offer tennis fans unforgettable moments,” explains David Müller, Managing Director of DF1 Medien GmbH.
