Detailed schedule outlook

Chattanooga will open at USC, now a member of the Big Ten, on Nov. 4, marking the program’s second season opener in Los Angeles, Calif., in recent years after earning a win at Loyola Marymount to open the 2021-22 title season. The two teams will meet for the second time in series history (USC – W, 73-46 – 11/21/08).

The Mocs then move north to Moraga, Calif., to face West Coast regular and national power Saint Mary’s (Calif.) on Nov. 7. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Mocs and the Gaels, who earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive year in 2023-24.

Chattanooga remains on the road for an in-state game on Nov. 11 at Austin Peay, which will be the first meeting with the Govs since 2011. UTC will play its first home game on Nov. 14 against Morehead State, which was also an NCAA Tournament team last season.

After a road game at SEMO on Nov. 17, the Mocs will play their next five games at McKenzie Arena, including an MTE event (Nov. 25-27) with Tennessee State and Bryant. Home play begins on Nov. 21 against Johnson (TN) and ends on Dec. 3 against Lipscomb.

UTC will travel to Evansville on Dec. 12 for the first time in program history to play a rematch of last year’s meeting at the Roundhouse. Alabama A&M comes to the Scenic City on Dec. 15 to play a game that is also a rematch of last year’s season.

Tennessee Wesleyan visits on Dec. 18 before the non-conference finale begins at Big Ten member Indiana at Assembly Hall on Dec. 21. The Mocs and Hoosiers will meet for the fourth time overall and the first time since the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
