Is crossplay absolutely to blame? The cause of the cheater problem was quickly found, at least by the players themselves. The permanently activated crossplay in the Black Ops 6 beta is said to be to blame for everything. According to the community, it is mainly the PC players who are guilty of cheating. Console-only parties had saved the fun of the game for at least some of the players.

Random bans? Many Black Ops 6 players also had to accept a ban, even though they were not among the cheaters mentioned – at least that’s what they say. As several players report on Twitter, they were kicked in an ongoing match and then received an 11-day ban. The reason for these bans has not yet been discovered, but it seems to be a bug.
