DThe UFC welcomes SC Pinkafeld to the derby on Friday. For the Mikovits boys it is clear: they want their first home win, but there is a lot at stake for Pinkafeld too.

Jennersdorf – Pinkafeld; Friday, 6.45 p.m. At the unusual time on Friday at 6:45 p.m., UFC Jennersdorf welcomes SC Pinkafeld. This means that the traditional derby is now entering the next round for the first time in a long time. And the goal is clear for both teams: After the defeat against the title favorites, they want to score again. The UFC recently lost 0-1 against MSV 2020, Pinkafeld missed points against Parndorf, and the SCP also lost 0-1. In the table, Jennersdorf is slightly ahead with five points compared to Pinkafeld’s three.

Jennersdorf’s sporting director, Martin Sitzwohl, expects a match on equal terms, “where in the end it will be decided who brings more passion onto the pitch.” Passion is also the key word that SCP coach Rainer Pein emphasizes. “Two weeks ago against Kohfidisch we hardly showed any fight, but against Parndorf we did and our performance was immediately better.” I hope that the boys have now understood that for us it’s all about passion.”

For Jennersdorf’s coach Patrick Mikovits, it is a game against his old home: under Maximilian Senft, he worked as an analyst in Pinkafeld. But he doesn’t want to give any gifts to his colleagues: “Our goal is clear, we want to get the first home win of the season.” They will have to do without Julian Resch – red card suspension – and Kevin Stangl.
