But the conflict between East and West escalates as the Cold War begins, and cooperation between the police, authorities and courts in the East and West sectors becomes increasingly difficult. The result is an art of “lawless space”: anyone who murders in the East and escapes to the West is as if “swallowed”. By the way, crook Werner Gladow takes advantage of this. In 2024, ZDF will add the format “XY History” to the brand world of “Aktenzeichen XY”.
