Royal blessing of children!

Princess Sofia (39) and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden (45) recently announced that they are going to be parents again. The couple is expecting their fourth child – and is therefore no exception in royal circles. Here we show you the royal parents with the most children!

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are no exception

In Germany, the birth rate in 2023 was 1.35 children per woman. This is different for the royals. Most royal families are happy to have a large number of children. With four offspring, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia will be the Swedish royal family with the most children. His parents, King Carl Gustaf (78) and Queen Silvia (80), each had three children. While Carl Philip’s younger sister Madeleine (42) also has three children, his older sister Crown Princess Victoria (47) is a proud mother of two.

While it is rather an exception in Sweden, Carl Philip and Sofia and their gang are in good company – if you look at other noble families.

Danish royals have a quartet at home

The birth rate among the Danish royals is also above the German average. Crown Princess Mary (52) and Crown Prince Frederik (56) have created a lively four-leaf clover: After Prince Christian (*2005) and Princess Isabella (*2007), the twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine will complete their happiness in 2011.

There is also a lot going on in Monaco when it comes to children. Princess Caroline of Monaco (67) gave birth to four children. Her marriage to Stefano Casiraghi (1960-1990) produced sons Andrea (*1984) and Pierre (*1986) and daughter Charlotte (*1986).
