Tri-Continental Corporation Announces Third Quarter Dividend

Tri-Continental Corporation (the “Corporation”) (NYSE: TY) today announced a third quarter ordinary earnings distribution of $0.2914 per common share and $0.6250 per preferred share. Distributions on common shares will be paid on September 23, 2024 to common shareholders of record as of September 13, 2024, and dividends on preferred shares will be paid on October 1, 2024 to preferred shareholders of record as of September 13, 2024. The ex-dividend date for both the common shares and the preferred shares is September 13, 2024. The ordinary earnings distribution of $0.2914 per share on the common shares is consistent with the Company’s distribution policy.
