Prime Video launches another video game series after the success of “Fallout”

The post-apocalyptic hit series “Fallout”, like “The Last of Us”, has shown that well-known video games can conquer the charts if they are adapted successfully. Prime Video is now following suit.

Of course, the next saga will be an absolute legend and a fan favorite, so that the investment in the series will pay off again. And with the names in the game, it could be funny.

The exciting project, which has been in the planning stages for some time, was recently announced at Amazon’s event to announce the news for the coming months. Of course, it will still be a while before it starts – first the episodes about the iconic adventurer and treasure hunter have to be filmed.

Maker: Phoebe Waller-Bridge – one of the most sought-after authors and actresses since the successful series “Fleabag” and “Killing Eve” – is writing the script for the series adaptation, is on board as an executive producer, but will not play the critics. Stars: Prime Video hasn’t announced any names yet. Will it be a well-known leading actress or will a newer talent get the chance to make it big? We’ll see.

The series is the third attempt – and Netflix is ​​also in the running

We know that this is not the first film adaptation of the “Tomb Raider” game, which Square Enix released in 1996 and made into a successful franchise. Two film adaptations first starred Angelina Jolie and most recently Alicia Vicander in the role of Lara Croft.
