New WhatsApp feature revealed: Brings order to chat chaos

The messenger WhatsApp is constantly developing new functions to improve your user experience. Now the fan blog WABetainfo has discovered a new feature in a beta version that will allow you to easily organize your chat overview and only display certain chats when you want them to.

In WhatsApp Beta 2.24.18.16 for Android, WABetainfo discovered a feature that allows you to create your own lists for your chats. The predecessor to this feature, where you could only add people to a favorites list, was only recently introduced. Soon, Android users of the messenger will be able to create their own lists to which they can add their chats.

The new feature brings order to your chat overview – according to your needs

In the future, conversations from family, work and friends will no longer have to be mixed together in your chat overview. A particularly advantageous feature is that groups with high activity will no longer dominate the top spots, so important messages will not slide down unnecessarily and possibly be overlooked.

You can create special lists for your dating chats, business conversations or conversations with family and friends. The best thing about it: In the future, you will only see chats from certain lists if you actively open the respective category. For example, a work WhatsApp group will disappear from your chat overview while you are on vacation if you have previously moved it to the appropriate list.

The new list function is still under development

According to WABetainfo, this feature is still in development. The fan blog assumes that it will be available in one of the upcoming updates for your Android devices.
