The transfer window for the 3rd league has been closed since 11:59 p.m. on Monday evening. A lot happened on the last transfer day. liga3-online.de summarizes what happened.

Hansa adds Sigurd Haugen

Especially in the attack, Hansa Rostock pressed against only two goals in four games of the shoe, so that the Kogge again stepped up the attack and Sigurd Haugen from Danish first division club Aarhus GF until the end of the season. According to reports, Kogge has also secured a purchase option for the Norwegian, although this has not been confirmed. Rot-Weiss Essen also upgraded its offensive line, but did not sign a striker – as was initially suggested – but rather a Joseph Boyamba another winger. Together with Ramien Safi, Dion Berisha and Kelsey Meisel, Essen are now very well positioned on the wings.

FC Ingolstadt added a central midfielder shortly before the transfer deadline. Max Besuschkow comes from Hannover 96 and will be in charge of the Schanzer’s central operations in the future. SV Waldhof Mannheim was brought in to defend after the Buwe had conceded six goals in the first four games. Manuel Braunwho is on loan from VfL Wolfsburg for a year, will help to stabilize the defense.

Aachen gives up three players

On the other hand, eight players have left the 3rd league. Alemannia Aachen alone gave up Vincent Schaubwho has joined Sportfreunde Lotte, Marc Brasnic (contract terminated) and Ismail Harnafi (loan to Mönchengladbach II) three players. Energie Cottbus has signed a contract with Rudolf Ndualu dissolved, Hansa Rostock gave Jannis Lang on loan to SV Babelsberg and VfL Osnabrück Ismail Badjie – also on loan – to gain more playing time in Wiedenbrück. And while Rot-Weiss Essen has signed contracts with Aaron Manu and Andreas Wiegel dissolved, it moved Tom Geerkens from Arminia Bielefeld to VfB Lübeck.
