Rabiot, Hummels and Matip free transfers – Bundesliga?

Rabiot, Hummels and Matip free transfers – Bundesliga?

There are also some stars in the attacking department who are currently without a club. The most prominent players are Memphis Depay, Anthony Martial and Wissam Ben Yedder. They have all proven their accuracy several times in recent years.

Depay most recently played for Atlético Madrid. He had previously played for FC Barcelona, Olympique Lyon and Manchester United. He was particularly impressive during his time in France. The 30-year-old Dutchman has therefore been repeatedly mentioned as a player for Borussia Dortmund in recent years. But now it is not BVB, but the Spanish capital club Rayo Vallecano who are keen to sign Depay (market value: 10 million euros).

Meanwhile, at 28, Martial is in his prime footballing age, just like his former teammate Depay, but he also doesn’t have a new club. Since 2015, the Frenchman has played for Manchester United, with a loan break to Seville. However, he was never able to fully justify the 60 million euros transfer fee that AS Monaco paid at the time. The extremely disappointing collaboration between Martial and the “Red Devils” ended in the summer. Now the former top talent could be had for free, despite a market value of 10 million euros.

Wissam Ben Yedder (market value: 8 million euros) is also available on a free transfer. The 34-year-old has already scored 259 professional goals in his career and was top scorer in France in the 2019/2020 season. Last season he put the ball in the opponent’s net 20 times for AS Monaco: a top figure. Despite his advanced age, he would still be an absolute asset to any team – including in the Bundesliga.

Other stars who have not yet found a new team include Spanish world champion Sergio Ramos (market value: 2.5 million euros), former English top talent Dele Alli (5 million), Miralem Pjanić (3 million), Willian (3 million) and ex-Bundesliga professional Ivan Perišić (two million), Davy Klaassen (4 million) and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting (2.5 million).
