“Yellowstone” will soon return with the second half of season 5. Paramount Network has released a teaser for the episodes. The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, has become a cable sensation since its debut in 2018. The first half of season 5 aired from November 2022 to January 2023. The premiere of the second half is scheduled for November 10, 2024. This part will consist of six episodes.

Teasers

The teaser released by Paramount Network begins with Kevin Costner’s character John Dutton saying, “Legacy. You build something valuable. Someone’s going to try to take it away from you.” Cole Hauser’s character Rip follows with, “What I do, I don’t do for the ranch. It’s for us,” as Kelly Reilly’s Beth Dutton pulls out a knife. The video also includes shots of FBI agents storming a building, groups of horseback riders and tense exchanges between the characters.

Yellowstone Marathon Weekend

Before the second half is released, fans can enjoy a “Yellowstone” marathon on Paramount Network this weekend, starting Friday, August 30 at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET and running through Monday, September 2. Paramount Network has also released first look images from Season 5, Part 2.

Future of the series

As Paramount looks to the future without Kevin Costner, the network has greenlit a spin-off series called “The Madison.” This contemporary series will star Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, and Beau Garrett. There is also speculation that “Yellowstone” could continue with a surprise 6th season, possibly revolving around the characters played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser.
