Suspect taken into custody after early morning shooting in Eveleth

At approximately 6:16 a.m. Monday morning, Eveleth Police responded to 413 Grant Avenue in Eveleth after a caller reported someone shot at them before fleeing the scene. Multiple officers responded to the scene and found several shell casings outside on the street and sidewalk. Multiple bullet holes were also found in the front door of the building.

A suspect was arrested shortly afterward. The investigation is ongoing and Eveleth police say there is no danger to the public.
