375 Euro fine: Anyone who does not report within 72 hours must pay

However, you can also agree directly that the toll will be debited automatically. This is possible when you register your vehicle online. Countries that frequently travel through France can also install an electronic toll box that automatically calculates and debits the toll.

Anyone who forgets to pay the free-flow toll will receive a reminder with a payment request. This may already include a penalty fee. If you fail to pay, an additional 90 euros will be due after 2 weeks. If you still haven’t paid after 2 months, you will have to pay a 375 euro penalty.
