Third session of the MotoGP race weekend in Aragon, third best time for Marc Marquez. After rain overnight, the riders were confronted with difficult mixed conditions in the second free practice session on Saturday morning, but Marquez did not let this bother him.

The result: Marc Marquez was 0.510 seconds faster than second-placed Jorge Martin in 1:49.812 minutes. Jack Miller finished third ahead of Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli, Brad Binder and Alex Marquez. Miguel Oliveira, Raul Fernandez and Fabio Quartararo completed the top ten.

Francesco Bagnaia could not get beyond eleventh place. Enea Bastianini only finished 13th, Maverick Vinales 14th and Aleix Espargaro ended up at the back of the field.

Falls, defects & incidents: Marc Marquez had problems with his bike on his first out lap and immediately returned to the Gresini pits. After a few minutes, Marquez was back on the track.

Between turns 14 and 15, Jorge Martin almost collided with Brad Binder, who was driving ahead of him and was significantly slower than Martin in the difficult conditions. The Pramac driver was able to avoid contact, however, and only made angry gestures.

The weather: After overnight rain, MotoGP experienced a second free practice session in mixed conditions. The racing line was already partially dry, but there were still many dangerous wet patches. The outside temperature was 22 degrees, and with a mostly cloudy sky, the asphalt reached 27 degrees.
