Beautiful puppy was badly treated, but caution is advised with Pit

Malinois Pit is currently staying at the animal shelter in Frankfurt am Main. He ended up there due to missing papers during the transfer.

Frankfurt am Main – Not even half a year old and yet already experienced so much negativity. Unfortunately, this applies to Dog-youngster Pit, who is currently in the animal shelter in Frankfurt am Main Hoping for his forever home.

The Malinois (Belgian Shepherd Dog) was born at the beginning of April this year and is therefore still very young and not neutered. He found his way to the care facility in a very unpleasant way.

When the four-legged friend was brought from abroad, no valid papers for Pit were available, which is why the puppy was confiscated a short time later. This is where the period of suffering for the bright little guy really began.

Due to the unclear circumstances from which he came, he was initially quarantined for rabies so as not to endanger other animals. At his age, however, such a measure is sheer torture, as it means that young dogs are in no way able to fully explore the world that is still so new to them.

But Pit doesn’t seem to have let this forced break get him down. Rather, he is keen to make up for lost time as quickly as possible.

His interested, curious and open nature are the perfect conditions to make this furry friend a reliable everyday companion. But caution is also advised with Pit.

Malinois Pit is extremely willing to learn, but still has a lot of catching up to do

Because, as is typical for the breed, a Malinois always needs to be challenged and encouraged. Consistency and love must also go hand in hand when training.

For people who want to leave him at home alone for the most part, Pit would definitely not be the right dog – unless you have a penchant for constant, loud barking or an animal-like redesign of your own four walls.

As is typical for a puppy, the brown beauty loves to cuddle and play. However, as a puppy, he still has to learn how to be house trained, ride in the car, go for a proper walk and behave according to the dog ABC.

Due to his strength and agility, children living in the household should also be at least 14 years old. Whether Pit gets along with other dogs or cats still needs to be extensively tested.

Anyone who would like to get to know Pit and can also throw a lot of time, patience and experience into the ring can contact the animal shelter in Frankfurt on the following telephone numbers: 069/423005 and 069/423006 put in touch.
