Police investigate shooting in Rockville

Montgomery County Police are investigating a shooting in the 14900 block of Southlawn Lane in Rockville.

The police classify the shooting of the two people as murder.

Norbeck Road eastbound, Maryland 28, between East Gude Drive and Avery Road are closed. Southlawn Lane is closed in both directions between East Gude Drive and Southlawn Court.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Due to a police investigation, Norbeck Road (MD-28) eastbound is closed between E. Gude Dr and Avery Rd. Additionally, Southlawn Lane is closed in both directions between East Gude Dr and Southlawn Crt. This is an extended closure, expect significant delays. Look for an alternate route. #MDTraffic
