Donald Trump launches NFT trading cards and debate suit items

Donald Trump has launched a new series of digital NFT trading cards called “America First,” featuring images of himself in various poses such as “Supertrump” and “Crypto President.” The cards cost $99 each, with a bundle deal that includes free sneakers.

Supporters who purchase 15 or more trading cards valued at $1,485 will receive a physical card featuring an actual piece of Trump’s debate suit from his debate with President Biden.

The fundraiser for Trump’s digital trading cards comes at a time when Harris-Walz items are becoming increasingly popular on the market.

Critics derided Trump’s renewed promotion of digital cards and questioned his continued profiteering at the expense of his supporters.

Trump courted the political support of cryptocurrency traders and called himself the “crypto president.”

The US Treasury Department published a risk assessment on NFTs, pointing out their vulnerability to fraud.

Trump faces charges related to attempts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, including a case involving access to voting machines. While Trump’s prosecution could help him by inciting his electorate and helping him stay in the news, the case is unlikely to be resolved before the election.

Polls show Trump trailing by 4 to 7 percentage points, while Vice President Harris is gaining ground.
