Murray State College records record enrollment for the sixth consecutive semester

TISHOMINGO, Oklahoma (KXII) – Murray State College is celebrating another milestone: for the sixth consecutive semester, it is recording record enrollment numbers.

At Murray State College, enrollment has increased 33% over the past three years, with 10% more students enrolled than last year.

The college is also expanding its offerings for students and is launching its new bachelor’s degree program in gunsmithing this fall.

Dr. Tim Faltyn, president of Murray State University, says the growth is the result of partnerships and hard work by students, staff and faculty.

“We have grown by 33% for three years in a row. All the credit goes to our employees, who have not only achieved record performances, but have consistently achieved great things,” said Dr. Faltyn.

Dr. Faltyn says Murray State is on track to have the highest enrollment in Oklahoma again this year.
