Oregon Ducks announce jersey combination for week 1 football game against Idaho

Things are looking up for the Oregon Ducks in Week 1.

Oregon announced that it will wear the new “Gang Green” uniform combination for Saturday’s season opener against Idaho, the Ducks’ first game as members of the Big Ten Conference.

The Gang Green combo — an homage to the Ducks teams of the same name in the 1990s — is green from top to bottom with yellow, white and chrome accents, and brings the “O” helmet back into the rotation. One obvious change for Saturday (at least in previous photos of the combo) is a yellow face mask.

The Ducks have also unveiled black “Fly Era” and white “Mighty Oregon” uniform combinations for this season, with more to come.

Oregon vs. Idaho begins Saturday at 4:30 p.m. PT with a live broadcast on the Big Ten Network. Comcast/Xfinity customers may face a blackout of the BTN broadcast due to an ongoing broadcast dispute, but can stream Oregon’s season opener for free with Fubo (free trial) or with DirecTV Stream (free trial).
