Dragon Ball Super fans criticize Toyotarou “leak” that announces end of series

A social media user on X (formerly Twitter) uploaded a photo that appears to be an official announcement from Toyotarou, the artist behind the Dragon Ball Super Manga. In the picture, Toyotarou says that he is currently working hard to Dragon Ball Super manga and that the upcoming “Black Frieza” arc will be a “super” fun ending for the series. He also thanks fans for their long-standing support and suggests that they continue to follow other Dragon Ball-related media such as Super Dragon Ball Heroes, Dragon Ball Z And Dragon Ball Z. “I’m going to take a break soon, so I and the other great Dragon Ball “Staff can prepare for the epic tour that lies ahead,” the message reads. “The divine saga will soon end so that a great adventure can begin.”

As of now, the Dragon Ball Super Manga is still on hiatus after the death of Toriyama. The previous chapter of the series concluded the manga adaptation of the Dragon Ball Super: Superheroes Film that in some ways seemed like a final farewell to Toriyama himself.
