Women’s tennis trio in the rankings for the start of the ITA 2024-25 season

MIAMI- The International Tennis Association (ITA) announced that a trio of students from FIU’s women’s tennis program have been named to the first Division I rankings for 2024-25.

The Panthers are led by a double duo Oyinlomo Square And Katerina Mandelikovawho are ranked sixth nationally. This pair put on an impressive performance at the 2024 NCAA Doubles Championships this spring, defeating the No. 25 Ohio State pair in the first round.

Quadre also appears at No. 31 in the singles rankings after a solid performance at the 2024 NCAA Singles Championships. She entered the race as the 48th ranked player but suffered a narrow loss to the 31st ranked UNC player in the opening round.

Teammate Ekaterina Khairutdinova also appears at No. 70 in the individual rankings. All three received numerous Conference USA (CUSA) awards last season when FIU won its second consecutive CUSA title.
