The Plucky Squire has been on the world’s most anticipated lists since it was first released by Devolver Digital over two years ago. A charming storybook platformer starring Jot that jumps back and forth between 2D and 3D, the trailers give the impression that it will bring something completely new to the video game world. With no updates on The Plucky Squire at showcases and events, some feared we were dealing with another Hollow Knight: Silksong. That was until Devolver dropped the very welcome bombshell that its ambitious adventure will release on September 17, 2024.
