The provisional answer key of CSIR-UGC NET was released on August 9. Candidates have been requested to send their feedback on the provisional answer key by August 11 to qualify for payment of ₹200 for each objection raised.

The agency said that subject matter experts will examine these objections and if they are found correct, the final answer key will be revised. CSIR NET results will be prepared using the final answer key.

The exam was conducted on July 25, 26 and 27, 2024. On the first two days, the exam was held in two shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm – and the exam on July 27 was held in the first shift.

A total of 225,335 candidates took the test in 348 centers in 187 cities.

CSIR UGC NET result 2024 live: Marking scheme if question is wrong or more than one answer is correct

  • If a question is answered incorrectly, only those candidates who attempted to answer the question will receive points.
  • If, after checking the questions against the candidates’ answer keys, more than one answer option is found to be correct, marks will be awarded to all candidates who have attempted any of the correct options (except in Part C of Mathematical Sciences).
  • In Part C of Mathematical Sciences, each question may have ‘one’ or ‘more than one’ correct answer. If there is more than one answer, only candidates who give ‘all’ the correct options will receive marks.

CSIR UGC NET Result 2024 live: Follow these steps to download your scorecards when they are released

Go to the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) for CSIR UGC NET – csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Open the CSIR NET Scorecard July download link available on the homepage.

A login window will appear. Enter your application number and password.

Click the Submit button and review the scorecard.
