Jesse Watters says Kamala Harris will be ‘sassy’ during presidential debate

JOHN ROBERTS (GUEST): I think, Jesse, they’re trying to get Donald Trump to say, “Okay, to hell with it, let’s go ahead with open mics.” Because what does Kamala Harris really want from this debate? She wants a moment. Because she’s going to have a very hard time articulating her policies and her changes of opinion that we’ve seen and all that. So if she gets one of those moments where Trump even whispers something to himself but you hear it through the mic, she could create one of those moments where she says, “Wait a minute, I’m speaking here, why are you interrupting me so rudely?” Which she’s done before. So I think the Trump campaign is probably on the right track —

JESSE WATTERS (HOST): Or she could just interrupt Trump! Yes, or she could just interrupt Trump, John.

ROBERTS: She could.

WATTERS: She doesn’t have to wait for him to sigh, she can just go ahead and have one of those moments like she had on The View: “I’m not going to do anything about the border wall.” Yeah, she gets pretty cheeky about it. What’s going on with her politics?

ROBERTS: That’s quite possible, but I really think it’s their style to say, “Wait a minute, are you interrupting me? Now it’s my time.” I think that’s the moment they’re waiting for.

WATTERS: Right, playing the victim, right. Yeah, being the victim.
