Fairy Tail 2 reveals full debut trailer and console release date for final anime story

Fairy Tale 2the upcoming anime action game, has now released its first full trailer as well as a release date for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The title has also announced the collectibles and pre-order bonuses that will come with it.

The official PlayStation YouTube channel has uploaded the new trailer for Fairy Tale 2that will published on December 13, 2024. Unlike the previous announcement video, this is the first full trailer of the game, showcasing all the new gameplay additions, such as new playable characters, special attacks, and teamwork-based action sequences. More importantly, the new Fairy Tale 2 The game includes the final anime story featuring the Spriggan 12. Zeref Dragneel, the older brother of Natsu Dragneel, leads the insidious group against the heroic guild Fairy Tail.

The new two-minute trailer shows off the vast kingdom of Fiore. Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust promise that players will be able to explore the game world seamlessly, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the story arc of “Alvarez” without being constantly distracted by loading times. However, a new storyline inspired by the game will also be available, taking place directly after the final story arc and showing the aftermath of the epic battle (along with some moments of fun).

Players can once again take control of the series’ most popular characters, such as Natsu and the Celestial Mage, Lucy Heartfilia, and many more. All playable characters, new and old, aren’t just there to fight; players can also build a deeper bond with their companions through fully voiced dialogue stories in the title’s numerous campfire areas. New character episodes are unlocked as the player progresses through the game and levels up their characters.

Fairy Tail 2 pre-order includes special editions and bonus collectibles for early purchases

Several editions of Fairy Tale 2 are currently available for pre-order. The Guild Box included in the special editions of the game contains the special edition of Sorcerer Magazine: Game Release Edition Vol. 2, the special holographic finish shikishi (three types), the original soundtrack CD, an Original Illustration B2 cloth poster, and of course the standard version of the game. The Digital Deluxe Edition – available to digital buyers as a DLC-only upgrade pack – contains alternate costumes of the game’s main actresses, based on the outfits worn by Reisalin “Ryza” Stout from the Atelier Ryza Video games also developed by Gust. The early purchase bonus includes the “Miss FAIRY TAIL Contest” outfit for Lucy, while the digital pre-order bonus gives Natsu his “Natsu of Edolas” outfit.

Fairy Tale 2 will be available this December. The sequel to the role-playing action game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The new anime TV series, Fairy Tail: 100 Years of Adventureis currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The original Fairy tale Anime is also available on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
