Trump and Harris agree on ABC debate, says ex-president in fiery Truth Social post

Donald Trump has finally reached an agreement with Kamala Harris’ campaign for the September 10 presidential debate. The former president confirmed his participation in a heated post on his social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday. The agreement comes just days after the Trump and Harris campaigns clashed over “muting microphones.”

Trump finally agrees to an ABC debate with Harris

The Republican presidential candidate said he had agreed to the rules for an upcoming debate with Harris. “I have reached an agreement with the radical left Democrats for a debate with Comrade Kamala Harris. It will be broadcast live on Tuesday, September 10th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on ABC FAKE NEWS, by far the nastiest and most unfair news anchor in the business,” Trump wrote.

Although he did not specifically mention anything about microphones, Trump confirmed that the rules will be the same as his last CNN debate with Joe Biden, where the microphones were muted. “The rules will be the same as the last CNN debate, which seemed to work well for everyone except maybe the cheating Joe Biden. The debate will be standing and candidates will not be allowed to bring notes or cheat sheets,” Trump continued.

“ABC has also assured us that this will be a ‘fair and equitable’ debate and that neither side will be asked questions in advance (No, Donna Brazile!),” the former president continued. This confirmation from Trump comes after he previously hinted that he might drop out of the debate. Shortly after his suggestion, a spokesperson for his campaign lashed out at Harris’ campaign, saying, “No more games.”

“Harris would not agree to the FoxNews debate on September 4th, but that date is being kept open in case she changes her mind or changes her mind, as she has done with every single one of her long-held and cherished political beliefs. A possible third debate, where NBC would favor FAKE NEWS, has not been agreed to by the radical left. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump concluded his post.
