Here is the Dolphins’ first 53-man roster to start in 2024 after the cuts

The Miami Dolphins reduced their roster to 53 players on Tuesday through a series of player moves, with several players ending up on the injured list and several being released.

While the initial group is set for now, there will surely be more adjustments to be made before the Dolphins officially begin the year with a Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The glaring issues with the initial 53-man group include the lack of a long snapper and the fact that Miami currently has just four wide receivers, including two – Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle – who sat out the entire preseason with minor injuries.

The Dolphins placed three players — River Cracraft, Cam Smith and Wyatt Ray — on the injured list and designated Cracraft and Smith for a later return. Miami also kept four players on the team’s injured list, including wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

With more changes undoubtedly to come, the Dolphins’ initial 53-man roster for the 2024 regular season looks like this:
