The Porch Visits group is attempting to set the record for the longest motorcycle parade for women

A group is attempting to set a world record for the longest women-only motorcycle parade and is hosting a weekend of activities in Oklahoma City.

News 9’s Jordan Ryan Ryan stopped by the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to see the Ladies In Leather in action.

Amber Cohen of Ladies in Leather said the group was founded in 2019 and seeks to celebrate and empower women.

“We all thought we were the only female riders out there until we found each other, and over the last six years we have formed an incredible family of sisters who are very close-knit,” Cohen said.

Around 700 women from 38 states will take part in a parade from September 12 to 14.

“Once a year we come together for what we call our family reunion. And it’s just an opportunity for all of us to come together, escape our everyday lives and celebrate women,” Cohen says.

An action-packed weekend awaits you with motorcycle games, a ladies’ bike show and much more around the parade.
