Seven members of the men’s tennis team are sports scholarship holders

Seven Hamilton College student-athletes have been named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Men’s Scholar-Athletes for the class of 2024.

To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better in the 2023-24 academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. The full list of Hamilton award winners is below.

Anson Anderson ’26 (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy)

Ethan Chin ’26 (San Francisco, California/St. Ignatius College Preparatory)

Gianni Esposito ’24 (Guilford, CT/Guilford HS)

Coby Feldman ’26 (Waccabuc, NY/Dwight School)

Connor Griff ’25 (Purchase, NY/Harrison HS)

Nicolas Gritz ’25 (Chatham, NJ/Delbarton School)

Neil Gupta ’26 (McLean, Va./Sidwell Friends School [D.C.])

The Continentals also earned 2024 ITA Division III Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team status. To be named to the ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or better, and all varsity letter winners must be included in the cumulative team GPA for the 2023-24 academic year. The Hamilton men earned this honor for the eighth time in the last 10 years.

Three Continentals made the 2024 All-New England Small College Athletic Conference team, including Griff (1st team, singles) and Anderson (2nd team, doubles). Hamilton will kick off the 2024 fall season with the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic on September 7-8.
