Packers News: Packers begin cuts after competition camp

I hope Brian Gutekunst is having a really rough day today.

I don’t mean this in a bad way, but if Gutekunst is having trouble making decisions about his final roster moves today, that can only mean good things for the Packers. (I guess it could also mean that Gutekunst isn’t doing a very good job, but I think the evidence suggests that’s not the case.)

In any case, I hope that the training camp has made life difficult for Gutekunst. I hope that the competition for the team line-up, such as it has been, will make the next few hours difficult. I hope that it will be a neck-and-neck race for almost every contested place.

And of course, I hope the Packers make the right decision on each of these controversial decisions. Because more than that Gutekunst has a bad day, I hope he puts together a roster that takes the Packers to the Super Bowl.
