New leaks for GTA 6 make fans freak out – release on time

New leaks about GTA 6 on one of the social media channels have created a frenzy in the gaming community. The leaked trailer didn’t get much attention before, but now that the trailer is all over the web, fans are going crazy over it. The trailer is actually a leaked trailer for the remastered content for Red Dead Redemption 2’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The trailer is about 42 seconds long and makes it seem like it was filmed with a different camera. Obviously, it’s a leak, and what more can you expect from a leak! The entire RDR2 trailer isn’t that intriguing to fans, but what intrigues them the most is what comes towards the end of the trailer: “Coming March 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.” Pretty intriguing, isn’t it? So, here we get another release and trailer 2 story for the highly anticipated game GTA 6, and the story is already all over the web.

Does this indicate a delay in the release of GTA 6?

Rockstar Games has already officially announced the release date for GTA 6 in fall 2025, and releasing a remastered version of another major game, Red Dead Redemption 2, in March 2025 would not serve the purpose of making profits by releasing the games on time. If the trailer for RDR2 is true, does it indicate that the release of GTA 6 would be delayed?

Rockstar Games has never released two popular titles within a year in such close intervals and doing so now would break Rockstar Games’ strategy. So, this trailer does not look like a real one and the most important thing about this whole matter is the fact that Rockstar Games has not made any attempt to remove the leaked RDR2 trailer. The leaked GTA 6 trailer was removed by Rockstar Games within 15-20 minutes and that shows the authenticity of the leaked RDR2 trailer. The new RDR2 trailer has been online for days now and Rockstar Games not doing anything in this regard shows the authenticity of the leaked trailer. Another reason for the trailer to be fake is the fact that the latest rumors surrounding Rockstar’s releases currently revolve around Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC and Bully being ported to be playable on modern platforms. Following the trend, Rockstar Games mostly releases one game per year. 2022 saw the release of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, 2023 saw the release of the Red Dead Redemption port for PlayStation 4, and 2024 is set to see the Bully port and PC release of Red Dead Redemption. That leaves 2025 for the release of GTA 6, which is definitely being touted as one of Rockstar Games’ biggest releases yet.

The Spider Vice admin commented on the GTA forum site that none of the randomly selected developers have access to upcoming trailers and that the GTA 6 trailer leak was nothing more than an email announcing the upcoming trailer before the actual release.

Therefore, it is not easy to get hold of an upcoming trailer and then post it on all social media channels. GTA 6 leaks will continue to occur until the game finally releases in fall 2025. However, as of now, the release is on time as there is no confirmation regarding a delay in the game’s release.
