Stefanos Tsitsipas asks Margot Robbie to play a US Open match and claims his girlfriend Paula Badosa is “happy” with the invitation.

Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has invited a high-profile movie star to watch him play at the US Open and revealed that his girlfriend was okay with it.

Tsitsipas was asked during an interview if there was a celebrity who had not yet watched him play and whom he would like to invite.

“I think we all know the answer to that,” Tsitsipas said.

“Paula agrees. Please formally invite Margot Robbie to any tournament you want.”

“I have tickets for you. I have IDs for you, not even tickets.”

Tsitsipas’ girlfriend Paula Badosa, who is also a professional tennis player, commented on an excerpt from her friend’s interview.

“I want her on my team too @steftsitsipas,” Badosa said, adding an upside down smiley emoji.

This is not the first time Tsitsipas has tried to invite Robbie to one of his tennis matches.

Tsitsipas boldly made the offer after reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open.

“Australia is such a great country, I like a lot of Australian things,” Tsitsipas said.

“One of my favorite actresses is from Australia, Margot Robbie.

“It would be nice to see her there one day,” said the tennis star, pointing to the stands.

He also showed his affection for Robbie during Wimbledon 2023 when he revealed who his dream doubles partner would be.

The tennis star revealed that his dream doubles partner would be the actress from “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

“My current girlfriend supports it because she is also a fan, a big fan of hers, so I would choose Margot Robbie, I’m happy with that,” Tsitsipas said.

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas’ fight for the US Open title begins on Tuesday.

He will play in the first round against Thanasi Kokkinakis on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

Tsitsipas is currently the eleventh best tennis player in the world.

He is ranked third by the Association of Tennis Professionals, making him the highest-ranked Greek along with Maria Sakkari.

Badosa will face Taylor Townsend in the second round today; the time has not yet been determined.

Tsitsipas’ girlfriend mastered her first round match against Viktorija Golubic on Monday with flying colors.

She defeated Golubic in two sets 6:0 and 6:3.
