New Jersey police last week arrested the zoo visitor who brazenly jumped over a fence and came frighteningly close to a Siberian tiger that tried to bite the woman’s hand.

Zyair Dennis, 24, is charged with trespassing and violating two city ordinances after she climbed over the fence at the Cohanzick Zoo and put her hand in the tiger enclosure, Bridgeton police said Monday.

Last week, police released stunning footage of Dennis’s escapades on August 18.

After apparently sniffing it curiously, the tiger lunges at the woman and appears to try to bite her hand, which she quickly pulls back before extending her hand again for a moment.

Then she slowly walks away and hops back over the wooden fence.

Police said they also had video showing her allegedly performing a similar stunt in a bear cage next to the tiger enclosure on the same day.

They had asked anyone with information about the fence-jumper’s whereabouts to send an anonymous tip via their website.
