Release date for Adventures in Gameland set for September

The release date for Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland has been announced and fans don’t have to wait too long for the game. According to an eShop listing, The Mix Games will release the title on September 10, 2024.

Some of you may remember that we originally expects Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland in March. However, that ultimately didn’t happen. The good news is that it looks like it’s only a few weeks away from launch.

Join the world’s smartest babies – Tommy, Chuckie and adorable twins Phil and Lil – on an all-new NES-inspired adventure full of mischief, diapers and imagination. Get ready for backyard jungle adventures, digging in sandbox deserts and exploring spooky attic ruins alone or with a friend. A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do!

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland offers a baby-fresh take on retro gameplay. Blending elements from the NES era with a modern design sensibility, today’s parents can introduce their kids to a nostalgic franchise in an adorable co-op adventure for up to two players where babies must stick together to win. Switch between 8-bit graphics for an authentic retro gameplay experience and HD graphics with hand-drawn animations for a trip back to the legendary Nickelodeon TV show.

Explore six unique levels in the Rugrats fantasy world, full of secrets, challenges and bosses. Jump over ice blocks in the Ice Cream Factory (the fridge), venture into the Night Oasis (the sandbox) and brave the Haunted House (the attic). Swap babies to use their different abilities: help Chuckie overcome his fears by jumping high or call Phil to help him dig holes faster.

Meet some of the franchise’s most recognizable faces, including Cynthia, the most famous doll in the Rugrats world, Spike, the loyal family dog ​​and best of all boys, and Mr. Boppo, the punching bag clown who almost turned Tommy into a good-for-nothing “taker-backer.”
