Nicki Minaj announces release date for “Pink Friday 2” Deluxe

Barbz, September will be your month. After several teasers, Nicki Minaj has announced the release date for her Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded Deluxe album.

The Queens legend announced on Monday (August 26) that the deluxe edition will hit streaming services on September 13 while she’s on the road on the second leg of her North American tour.

“9/13/24 #GagCityRELOADED THE DELUXE ALBUM,” Minaj captioned the photo dump, which shows several pictures of her loving on her husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty.

The Barbz were understandably excited to hear the news that Nicki would be resurfacing for her upcoming tour.

“I love these types of posts! It feels like a mini documentary from you. Thanks for this #GagCityReloaded album! I can’t wait to hear the new songs,” wrote one fan.

Another chimed in: “GAG CITY RELOADED WILL BE THE BIGGEST MOVIE IN GAG CITY HISTORY!!!!”

Nicki has been tight-lipped about the deluxe version, but revealed that a studio session on Sunday night (August 25) produced what she believes will be a fan favorite of the project.

“So Barbz – I didn’t want to talk about this but I just can’t stay silent any longer,” she tweeted. “Last night I recorded what will probably be your favorite song on the deluxe version. It will instantly go into your TOP 5 of the entire PF2 era. OH MY GOD WDRFFHJKGV.”

Nicki’s “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” is set to kick off again in Philly on September 4. Her 22-city tour will include stops in New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Kansas City, Jacksonville, Miami and more.

PF2 was originally released in December 2023 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 album units sold in its first week.
