Fantasy Football Rankings 2024 Draft Prep: QB, RB, WR, TE Picks, Cheat Sheet, ADP, Tiers, by NFL Model

In the second half of last season, Packers quarterback Jordan Love was one of the NFL’s most efficient passers. In his final eight games, he completed 70.3% of his passes for 2,150 yards and 20 touchdowns with one interception. That second half earned him a four-year, $220 million contract extension in the offseason. Now the Green Bay Packers and Love’s fans are hoping he can build on his play from the end of last season and rise in the 2024 fantasy football quarterback rankings. So where should Love be in the 2024 fantasy football player rankings and what other quarterbacks should you consider for your 2024 fantasy football draft cheat sheets?

With a reliable set of live-updated 2024 fantasy football rankings, you can make informed decisions at every position. If you’re looking for 2024 fantasy football picks, be sure to check out the 2024 fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.

Last year, the model correctly predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not meet his fantasy football ADP. Waddle’s 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall and he was the 11th receiver taken off the board on average. He managed a 1,000-yard season but had just 72 receptions with four touchdowns and finished the season as the No. 34 fantasy football wide receiver in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has proven itself to be effective in providing fantasy football picks. It identified AJ Brown as a surprise pick in 2020 and predicted Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous 2021 season. Additionally, it has predicted previous fantasy football surprise picks like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anyone who has bet on players like these has had a good run at their championship titles.

The model is developed by the same people who create the projections for all three major fantasy sites, and it beat the human experts last season when there was a huge difference in the rankings. The Fantasy Football 2024 PPR rankings and standard Fantasy Football 2024 projections are updated multiple times a day, so you’ll always get the best fantasy football tips and the latest fantasy football tiers.

Top QB Rankings for Fantasy Football 2024

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024:

1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts is coming off a season in which he rushed for a career-high 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns last season, as well as 605 yards and 15 touchdowns. He will look to reduce the 15 interceptions he threw while maintaining his aggressiveness, as he ranked third among NFL QBs in air yards per pass attempt (8.7) and fourth in fantasy points per dropback (0.65).

2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Allen also ran for 15 touchdowns and threw for 4,306 yards and 29 touchdowns last season. However, he also struggled with turnovers (18 interceptions and seven fumbles) and now he’s lost his No. 1 receiver, Stefon Diggs (who was traded to Houston). Still, Allen has finished as QB1 or QB2 in each of the last four seasons and the model predicts another strong finish in 2024.

3. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: The reigning NFL MVP threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns with seven interceptions and also ran for 821 yards and five touchdowns. With Derrick Henry now in the fold to soften up the defense, we can expect more big plays in the running game and more one-on-one situations from Jackson on the outside. Find more top QBs here.

Top RB Rankings in 2024 Fantasy Football

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three RB picks for Fantasy Football 2024:

1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: This is a no-brainer as the No. 1 pick in almost any format. McCaffrey has 3,233 scrimmage yards and 31 touchdowns in 27 games since joining the 49ers, and you can expect 20 or more touchdowns from him almost weekly.

2. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall’s status was questionable entering 2023 as he was recovering from a season-ending injury in his rookie season and the Jets limited him for the first month of the season, allowing him just 37 touches in the first four games. However, he had his breakout day with a 177-yard rushing day against the Broncos and finished with 1,585 scrimmage yards and nine scores. Now healthy, he should be a focal point in the Jets’ offense.

3. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: After not getting a contract extension after six years in New York, Barkley left the Giants in the offseason and joined the Eagles. Now he’ll be playing behind a much better offensive line than he’s used to and surrounded by a talented group of Eagles players. He’s had 2,892 scrimmage yards and 20 touchdowns over the past two seasons, and he could have an even better year with Philadelphia in 2024. Check out more top RBs here.

Top WR Rankings for Fantasy Football 2024

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three WR picks for Fantasy Football 2024:

1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: The former Oklahoma star has steadily improved throughout his professional career and was the WR1 in fantasy points per game last season. Lamb has 100-plus receiving yards in seven of his last 12 games, including a 227-yard performance in Week 17. He should challenge for the WR1 title again this season, especially since Dallas is fielding almost the same roster as last year.

2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill ranked second among fantasy wide receivers last year, averaging just under 20 points per game. He amassed more than 1,700 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in his 29th season, so there’s no reason Hill will slow down this year. Miami’s offense has proven it can provide enough volume for a variety of fantasy stars, including Hill and teammate Jaylen Waddle.

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: He finished third at his position behind Lamb and Hill last season, scoring 247.5 fantasy points while averaging 16.5 points per game. St. Brown had a 30% target share and 34% air yards share on one of the league’s best offenses and earned a four-year contract extension for his efforts. He is at the peak of his career and ranks No. 3 among wide receivers according to the SportsLine model. See more top WRs here.

Top TE Rankings for Fantasy Football 2024

Here’s a look at SportsLine’s top three TE picks for Fantasy Football 2024:

1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: The 34-year-old already has all the makings of the greatest tight end of all time by catching over 90 passes for the sixth consecutive season in 2023. He signed a two-year contract extension in the offseason and remains a focal point of Kansas City’s elite offense. Some fantasy managers are disappointed in Kelce after he failed to reach 1,000 yards last year, but he’s still the best player at his position.

2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews has only played one full season since his rookie year, but he scored one more touchdown in 10 games last year than he did in 15 games the year before. He continues to be quarterback Lamar Jackson’s first choice and caught an average of 4.5 balls per game last season. His points per target average was also nearly three percentage points higher than his career average, making his health his owners’ only legitimate concern.

3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: He surprised the fantasy world as a rookie, finishing the season as the TE1 with 86 catches for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. LaPorta averaged 52.3 yards per game, so it’s easy to assume he’ll improve on those numbers this season. SportsLine’s model needs to see more from him before ranking him ahead of Kelce and Andrews, but LaPorta is already one of the best tight ends in the league. Find more top TEs here.
