Siegemund and Korpatsch eliminated from “China Open” in Beijing

The German tennis players Laura Siegemund and Tamara Korpatsch were eliminated in the first round of the “China Open” in Beijing. Siegemund lost to the Ukrainian Starodubzewa in two sets, Korpatsch lost to the French Clara Burel in three sets.

A few days after her defeat in the final in Hua Hin, Thailand, Siegemund had to admit defeat to Yulia Starodubzewa from Ukraine with 4:6 and 6:7.

Korpatsch also did not make it past the first round of the ATP tournament in China. The Hamburg native lost to the French Clara Burel 3:6, 7:5 and 3:6.
