New edition of Lenovo ThinkPhone leaks – Research Snipers

It’s still a few months until Motorola launches the second edition of its so-called ThinkPhone. Nevertheless, all relevant data about the new smartphone, which is supposed to be a kind of “ThinkPad for your pocket”, has already been made public. Lenovo

Details about the ThinkPhone (2025) months before the market launch

Lenovo introduced the ThinkPhone in early 2023 as part of its “Think” series. The premium mid-range device is aimed primarily at professional users and corporate customers who want management functions for their employees’ smartphones.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone (2025), which now provides practically all the relevant specifications and first images on the Android Headlines portal, is probably in the same vein, but with a more modern design and apparently slightly reduced performance. With the 2025 model, Lenovo is switching from a Snapdragon platform from Qualcomm to a MediaTek chip for the ThinkPhone.

Specifically, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 is to be installed here, a mid-range chip from the Taiwanese supplier with a speed of up to 2.4 gigahertz, which is combined with eight gigabytes of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory. A 6.36-inch OLED display made of plastic with LTPO technology is also planned, which can work with a refresh rate of 1-120 hertz and has a resolution of 2670×1200 pixels.

When it comes to cameras, Lenovo is using the latest standard: There is a main camera with a 50-megapixel sensor, which is supported by a 13-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots, as well as a zoom camera with 10 megapixels and three times optical magnification. The battery of the new Lenovo ThinkPhone (2025) will not be particularly large at 4300mAh, but in combination with the mid-range platform it should last a whole day of use.

There is no information about the price yet. What distinguishes the ThinkPhone (2025) from “normal” smartphones? Apart from the additional services and apps for corporate customers that Lenovo will offer around the device, the only difference will be a potentially longer support period. There is also at least one small highlight for fans of ThinkPad laptops: Lenovo is giving the device a carbon back again.
