Post-Journal, WRFA and Media One host parliamentary debate | News, Sports, Jobs

WRFA, in partnership with the Jamestown Post-Journal and Media One Group, will host the 150th State Assembly Candidates Debate.

Republican candidate Andrew Molitor and Democratic candidate Michael Bobseine will take part in the debate.

The panel will be moderated by Julia Ciesla-Hanley of WRFA and will include questions from participating media representatives John D’Agostino of The Post-Journal and Dunkirk OBSERVER and Terry Frank of Media One Group and WJTN.

Each candidate also has the opportunity to ask one question each of his or her opponents. Questions from the audience will only be accepted if time permits.

The debate will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Arts Room on the third floor of the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts. The debate will be broadcast live on 107.9 FM and streamed live on WRFA’s YouTube page. The program will also be rebroadcast by WRFA and radio station WJTN in the future.

The debate is intended to help inform voters in the 150th State Assembly District about each of the two candidates before Election Day on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

There is limited seating available for spectators. Seat reservations can be made starting Thursday, September 26th at 9:00 a.m. by emailing [email protected].
