Identity of man found dead behind store revealed – News from Port Arthur

The name of a man found dead behind a vacant building in Port Arthur last week has been released.

Justice of the Peace Joseph Guillory II identified the deceased as Rickey Webb of Port Arthur.

Funeral services for Webb, 47, will be held at Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.

On August 19, police were notified that a dead person was found behind the now-closed Star City Motors LLC store, 4040 Gulfway Drive.

Guillory ordered an autopsy. The results of the autopsy are not yet available.

According to authorities, at this time it is not believed that a crime played a role in the patient’s death.
