Final LK tournament of TG Ebingen

The final LK day tournament for the tennis pros took place at TG Ebingen on Sunday in perfect weather conditions. The 37 players fought for every point and gave the spectators a few surprises.

In the Men’s A, local hero Emanuel Buhl from the host club put in a strong performance. After his two-set opening victory against Sebastian Conzelmann from Tailfingen, he also defeated the favorite Vincent Eckl from Waiblingen after more than two and a half hours in the match tiebreak with 2:6, 6:2 and 10:6. Nic Bartsch (TC Herrenberg), Georgios Valsamas (TC Winnenden), Philipp Drebka (TEC Waldau Stuttgart) and Luka Protic (TC BW Villingen) also managed the maximum yield of two wins. Daniel Hirschler and Jannik Seifried from TG Ebingen also managed to score one win each.

Haiß continues to rise

Elias Haiß from TC Ostdorf also confirmed his top form in the men’s B category, first beating the higher-ranked David Gabriel from Ebingen 6:2 and 7:5 and then leaving Felix Beck (also from TG Ebingen) no chance with 6:3 and 6:2. Maximilian Beck from the host club meanwhile beat Joshua Kimpfler from Haigerloch 6:2 and 6:2 and also defeated his club colleague Richard Dobler after a tough fight 6:4, 3:6 and 10:7. Luca Flicker (TC Bochingen) also had two-set victories against Marcel Pache (TG Ebingen) and Max Gaal (TC Oberndorf).

In the Men’s C category, only two players achieved the optimal result of two victories: Max Becker (TC Rottenburg) with 6:4 and 6:4 against Leonhard Junger (TG Ebingen) and 6:1 and 6:1 against Manuel Siebert. And Nico Schweiger (TA FC Großselfingen), who clearly won against Luca Röhrle (TC Oberndorf) and Kevin Rapp (TC Lautlingen).
