Alleged benchmark results of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra appear on Geekbench

It will take months, but Leaks of Samsung’s next high-end flagship smartphone, the S25 Ultra, continue to surface online. This time, they are benchmark scores purportedly belonging to the device, which was first spotted on the web version of Geekbench by X user (formerly of Twitter) Tarun Vats.

The results show a significant increase in single and multi-core performance, which is about 30% higher compared to the current model. Samsung Galaxy S24 UltraThe same Geekbench listing also revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra (dubbed SM-S938U) uses a quad-core Qualcomm chip consisting of two cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six cores clocked at 2.9GHz.

While it is not known which SoC is installed in the high-end model, rumors suggest it could be the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, since Samsung and Qualcomm continue to collaborate, we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that it is a “For Galaxy” version optimized exclusively for the former’s flagship devices.

We can’t say for sure whether the listed device is actually the Galaxy S25 Ultra, so we should take the information provided with a certain amount of skepticism. Since Samsung only announces its next-generation flagships in the first quarter of each year, it will be a long time before we find out.
